This document specifies the testing principle, testing equipment, reference block, verification,testing procedures, result evaluation and testing report of guided wave testing using ultrasonic phased array cylindrical imaging.
This document is applicable to the guided wave testing using ultrasonic phased array cylindrical imaging in the detection of transverse defects in cylindrical structures with a length not exceeding 1 500 mm, an outer diameter not less than 10 mm and not greater than 100 mm, and the ratio of length to outer diameter not less than 10.
