This standard specifies the reference methods and alternative methods of chemical analysis of natural gypsum,anhydrite and industrial by-product gypsum.Where there is dispute,the reference methods shall prevail.
This standard is applicable to natural gypsum,anhydrite and industrial by-product gypsum.They can also be applied to other materials,the standards for which call up these methods.
