This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, sign, packaging, transportation and storage of mineral wool decorating and acoustic ceilings （hereinafter refers to acoustic ceilings）.
This standard applies to mineral wool decorating and acoustic ceilings for indoor application manufactured by wet or dry process. Decorating and acoustic ceilings for other purposes can refer to this standard.
