This document describes methods for measuring the surface magnetic field distribution of permanent magnets using magnetic field detectors and instrument Guidance on the selection of measurement points, measurement devices, specimens, measurement procedures and data processing techniques are provided.
This document is applicable to the detection of the magnetic field distribution on the surface of permanent magnets such as Rare earth-iron-boron alloys(REFeB), Rare earth-cobalt alloys(RECo), Aluminium-nickel-cobalt-iron-titanium alloys(AlNiCo), hard ferrites.
